Happy Thanksgiving!!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We hope you all had a great day. We sure did miss everyone!! Since it was just the 3 (and 1/2) of us, we kept Thanksgiving pretty simple--especially since I am still sick (going on 3 weeks now!), but it was a good day. We had turkey, whole wheat rolls (though they weren't nearly as good as Nana's!), corn, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, sparkling apple & pomegranate cider, and dutch apple pie. It was all really yummy!! Kyle did most of the work...I feel pretty spoiled (but he probably just didn't want my germs around the food!). It's been a fun day and has been nice to spend some quality time just the three of us, because that hasn't happened for a long time! And in only three short weeks, it will be the four of us! (We can't wait!!!) But we sure did miss all of our extended family today! It just didn't feel the same without a lot of other people around to celebrate with!
Last night, the 3 of us each made our own place mats for Thanksgiving dinner and wrote some things we are thankful for. Preston even wrote his by himself! (It's pretty funny!) He's doing really well potty training lately (which mommy & daddy are thankful for) and even though he's had a little bit of a hard time being in "limbo" (he often asks when we're going home), he's been a good little boy. He's getting really good at writing his letters and doing his sign language. It's pretty amazing to watch how much he can remember. Today while we were getting dinner ready, Preston was playing with his trains. He said "Percy doesn't feel good. He needs to go lay down." Then he tucked Percy into bed, gave him a kiss and said "You have a good night-night, ok? You'll feel lots better after your nap. I love you!" Then came out and told me "Percy doesn't feel good. He's sleeping, so you need to be quiet, ok?" He's going to be such a good big brother! I can't wait to see his interaction with Dallin. It will be so great!
Well, we hope you all had a great day! We love you all and can't wait to see you again soon!
