Collin Boy!!!

Collin had a great time eating ham at our ward Christmas party. He is such a HAM!!!

Bethany and Kearsten

Brian brought Bethany to Idaho for the weekend. Her and Kearsten had so much fun! We can't wait for them to get together for New Year's! We hope to take them up to the mountains to build a snow man!

Brian and I in Oakland

Brian and I took a road trip to the bay area to see the Oakland Temple Christmas lights! It was so much fun! We also went over to San Francisco to see the Golden Gate at night!

Merry Christmas

Here he is!!

He's here! Dallin Glen Field was born Thursday, November 29th at 3:32 p.m. He weighed 6 lbs. 3 oz. and was 18 1/4 in. long. He is just as perfect as can be! He made a quick and early arrival into this world--2 weeks before his scheduled c-section! It took everyone by surprise...especially Daddy, who was working in Preston, Idaho at the time I went into labor! The operating room was open and ready to go when I got there, so Kyle hurried to Pocatello as fast as he could! The nurse met him at the elevator, threw some scrubs at him and rushed him into the operating room! It is no exaggeration that he made it about 2 minutes before Dallin was born!! But he made it and everything turned out just fine!

He's very healthy and is a very calm baby. The only time he fusses is when he gets his diaper changed. He sleeps ALL day long--even when his older brother tries to hold him or kiss him! Preston just loves Dallin! When he came to see him at the hospital, he couldn't stop giggling! It is the funniest thing I've ever seen. He's been a good big brother so far!

Sorry it's taken us a while to get these photos up! I'm sure there will be more to follow soon, but here is just a glimpse at our little man! Hope all of you are doing well! We love you!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We hope you all had a great day. We sure did miss everyone!! Since it was just the 3 (and 1/2) of us, we kept Thanksgiving pretty simple--especially since I am still sick (going on 3 weeks now!), but it was a good day. We had turkey, whole wheat rolls (though they weren't nearly as good as Nana's!), corn, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, sparkling apple & pomegranate cider, and dutch apple pie. It was all really yummy!! Kyle did most of the work...I feel pretty spoiled (but he probably just didn't want my germs around the food!). It's been a fun day and has been nice to spend some quality time just the three of us, because that hasn't happened for a long time! And in only three short weeks, it will be the four of us! (We can't wait!!!) But we sure did miss all of our extended family today! It just didn't feel the same without a lot of other people around to celebrate with!
Last night, the 3 of us each made our own place mats for Thanksgiving dinner and wrote some things we are thankful for. Preston even wrote his by himself! (It's pretty funny!) He's doing really well potty training lately (which mommy & daddy are thankful for) and even though he's had a little bit of a hard time being in "limbo" (he often asks when we're going home), he's been a good little boy. He's getting really good at writing his letters and doing his sign language. It's pretty amazing to watch how much he can remember. Today while we were getting dinner ready, Preston was playing with his trains. He said "Percy doesn't feel good. He needs to go lay down." Then he tucked Percy into bed, gave him a kiss and said "You have a good night-night, ok? You'll feel lots better after your nap. I love you!" Then came out and told me "Percy doesn't feel good. He's sleeping, so you need to be quiet, ok?" He's going to be such a good big brother! I can't wait to see his interaction with Dallin. It will be so great!
Well, we hope you all had a great day! We love you all and can't wait to see you again soon!

Halloween 2007 in P-Town

These are a few pics from my Halloween party. The girl with the pink hair, Sara, threw the party and this guy in the bottom picture dressed up as Dwight from the office. (I also dressed up as Dwight). If you haven't seen the office I recommend it (Thurs nights at 8). It was a pretty fun dance party with snacks just at her tiny apt.

Happy Halloween!

We thought we'd post a couple pictures from tonight. Preston (the hunter) had a lot of fun! We went to the trunk-or-treat in Ryan & Lisa's ward, then visited all of the grandparents (Ryan's parents, Lisa's parents, and my parents). Ryan & Lisa's kids are: Bailey (the wolf), Kaden (Spider-man) and Wyatt (Batman).
It's lots of fun to be in the same town as our friends for Halloween, but we missed seeing the girls and Collin in their costumes. Hope you guys had fun. We'd love to see some pictures of the kids all dressed up! Happy Halloween! Can't wait to see you guys this weekend!!!

Summer Time Fun

It's too bad summer had to end, but here is a picture of me and my crew that I hung out with during the summer. Now they have all moved away. This is a picture in front of Stewart Falls just north of Sundance ski resort.

It's OCTOBER!!!

This is what we woke up to this morning! These are taken out my parent's back window. (The 2nd shot is a picture of my parents' newly hydroseeded backyard!!) It's been snowing for at least 5 hours and doesn't look like it's going to let up any time soon! It's OCTOBER! It actually snowed last Saturday as well, so it snowed in September, too!! I guess this is Eastern Idaho for you! Preston loves it! He says "I want to go out in the snow and get Santa!"

I'm be four a-years old!

Can you believe it? Our little boy is FOUR today! We had a small party for him tonight...with some friends and my cousins (8 kids in all--we're a little crazy!). It wasn't as much fun as the party we had in Meridian, but he still had fun!

After Preston opened a couple presents tonight, he gave all of the adults hugs and said "Thanks for the birthday!" (He tried to hug the kids too, but they were all too busy playing.)

Preston's been telling everyone today (including the cashier at WalMart) "I'm be four a-years old!" It seems like he's grown up so fast these last couple months. Maybe he's just getting ready to be a big brother!

We sure miss everyone! Know how much we love you!

Senioritis

Just wanted to wish Dad a happy birthday!!

Kearsten with her dog Carson hanging out in the swings at the park!

Collin really wanted to play in the dryer. I thought he was going to help me load the wet clothes in there...but instead he climbed right over them and into the dryer. He loved it. He cried and cried when I took him out! Silly Kid!

Just the 3 (1/2) of us!

This was taken tonight while Kyle was trying to get Preston dressed! He has been having SO much fun with his daddy! They're both just loving it...Preston can't stop laughing! It's been a fun couple of days--being together just the 3 (well, 3 1/2) of us! It will be a nice 2 weeks--I'm so excited we have this time to be together! Hope you guys are all doing well. Thanks again for starting this blog, Trent! We love you guys!

Kearsten wanted to see 4 temples during our trip to Utah. Mt T. was the first of 6 that she would see. The temple was beautiful and the kids really enjoyed getting out of the car!

Well this is the first official post of the field family blog. I just thought it would be a nice way for all of us to keep in touch by sharing what goes on or what not. It's especially great when some of us live kind of far away. So, post often and share thoughts, experiences, or things the kids are doing. Go BSU!!! (Cougars too!)
